We worked with Kathy Blend to help us both purchase and sell our home. We were so pleased with the work Kathy did with the purchasing of our home, that it was easy to call upon her to sell it two years later. Kathy knew the market very well when we bought. She had a good sense of market pricing and all comparable homes. She worked hard to negotiate qa great price on the purchase.
When it came time to sell our home, Kathy was strong in all aspects of the sale including assessing the home before listing, in the marketing of the property and in negotiating. Before listing, Kathy gave us great advice on preparing our home. For example, she specifically recommended what to upgrade and what to leave alone. For the listing she was thorough in evaluating the home's value, bringing colleagues in to add to her judgement.
Negotiating this sale was challenging dealing with a multiple offer situation. Kathy was professional with all the offers and dealth with all of the offers in a calming manner. We negotiated three rounds and Kathy worked to get the best price. She had good judgment on understanding the limits of the buyers. Most importantly, she kept us the sellers completely informed and was attentive to our inputs.
Working with Kathy has been a real pleasure. She is friendly, easily accessible, straight-forward and professional. We would highly recommend her as a real estate agent.
